Old Bikers

Which reminded me of an incident a couple of years ago.

We had been down in San Diego visiting Miranda and Jeremy, and went to 'The Broken Yoke' resturant for sunday brunch. As we were walking in, there were a bunch of large motorcycles parked outside, and inside were a bunch of old biker dudes, and biker moms in biker gear.

They finished breakfast at about the same time we did, and I headed to the john before we left. The old biker dudes headed in the same direction to get ready for the day's ride, and a line soon formed.

One of their number was trying to pee in the only urinal and not having much success. His buddies behind me in line, started giving him all manner of encouragement/suggestions to hurry him up.

Now some things a guy is not good at when put under pressure, and soon this guy just gave up and slinked back outside.

When I got back to work, I told this story to a younger bike guy just to give him a chuckle. He looked at me with a straight face and said that it was well known that prostate issues were a common problem for old male bikers.

So enjoy the ride guys, the bugs in the teeth are not the only hazard you face.
